1. Ticket Sales

uTickets operates an online platform for the sale of tickets to events ("Events"). By selling or purchasing tickets through our website, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Event Organisers

Event organisers are users who create and sell events through our platform. By creating events on our website, event organisers agree to the following terms:

• Event organisers can only be paid out after the event end date has passed.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement of an event, customers will be refunded in full automatically.
• Event organisers are responsible for covering transaction fees for refunded events, as listed at the time of cancelling or postponing their event.
• In rare cases, all monies for the event will be held by uTickets when there are disputes arising for suspicious or fraudulent activity.

3. Customers

Customers who purchase tickets through our website agree to the following terms:

• Customers will receive refunds in full if an event is cancelled or postponed.
• uTickets is not liable for events organised by event organisers and any incidents that occur at those events. We act solely as a ticket facilitator, and customers should conduct their own research before purchasing tickets.

4. Liability

uTickets shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your use of our website or services. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on our website.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, with disputes to be resolved through mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Durban, South Africa.

6. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes to the Terms will be communicated to users via email.
